@AverageJoe1
Yeah, since we know those billionaires funding SCOTUS parties to the tune of millions of dollars expect NOTHING in return, right? Just boys having fun.......
Are you really that naive you don't think billionaires have an agenda that a few million in lobbying will achieve that agenda? Just boys helping out their favorite senators with the smallest dollar number to 'adjust' a law in favor of said billionaire, never happens, right?
@mott-the-hoople saidBy acknowledging that the government gives extensive security services to the wealthy every day and so it's not actually taking.
how do you reason with a fool that sees “not taking” as “ giving”?
@athousandyoung saidYou should also acknowledge that wealthy folk invest 'extensively every day' in their own security despite it being the role of goobermint. Private security Co's, cameras, walls, fences, card entry etc.
By acknowledging that the government gives extensive security services to the wealthy every day and so it's not actually taking.
You make a good point, wealthy people should pay less tax because they're more likely to 'extensively every day' use private services for health, education, security, and never have their hand out for welfare, actual.
@vivify saidAre the college graduates, stay with me here, try again, are they part of a social program? You know, the tuition thingy.
You can't claim there is no money for social programs then give money to the rich through tax benefits.
If there's money to give to the rich then that money should be spent on social programs.
It's not hard to understand.
@wajoma saidWhen did God reveal to you that the role of government is to serve the interests of the wealthy without payment?

@vivify saidVivify, vivify.....There are 50M people in this country in dire need of help. THat is it. We all agree they are the group to benefit from social programs. 50M times $20,000 a year is $1T. That is it. If we do that, and then shut down all other programs, the free stuff, the everything, the government would have plenty of money to use towards prosperity in our country.
I'm referring to tax breaks that specifically benefit the rich.
If a government isn't able to pay for social programs they shouldn't be collecting less money from the rich.
@averagejoe1 saidHow do you know how many people need help?

Somehow I doubt you’ve been consulting social scientists.
@athousandyoung saidI hope the Market Place is a good source for you, I think Suzianne poopooed it a while back.
How do you know how many people need help?
So here is the census, it says 38 million, but I think it is closer to 50M with the new illegals to pay for, plus the events of the last 4 years.
So, 50 Million. Glad to help

@averagejoe1 saidThat article uses the government census as its source. So you do trust government employed social scientists after all!

But why are you adding in your own guesses about illegal immigrants and why do you think we should be paying for your estimated 12 million impoverished immigrants?
Taking your argument at face value you think we should give welfare and other benefits to over 10% of the legal population and then another 12 million on top of that. Is that really what you meant to say?
@athousandyoung saidBlatant Misrepresentation.
When did God reveal to you that the role of government is to serve the interests of the wealthy without payment?
Typical from ATY when in a corner.
Does not warrant a response**
**with the exception of these few words, because I know ATY is such a dry balls he'll call a notice of no response as being a response, such is the level of puerility.
@athousandyoung saidHAHAHAHAHA. Another element of the lliberal mind...at least the ones here. If they do not like what we throw back at them, they deride the source!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suzianne will give you a thumb-up and promote you to corporal!!!!!hahahah
PS: I have never said I did not trust govt science. Anyway, you libs sure get personal.
Why am I adding in the illegals? We are spending many billions on them google it. Or get Marauder to google it for you. Since they occupy no known category (being illegally here and all) then we must throw them into the Social Program category. Why do you act so stupid? And then you ask me why I think we should be paing for for the immigrants?? What in the hell? Are you a child, writing this crap?
Let us not overlook, everyone, that this little feller says 'impoverished' immigrants. I have not seen one skinny. The are mostly all fit mexicans etc. Also, when asked, they say they are here for a new life to find a job, etc, whatver that means. Anyway that does not qualify them for asylum. I think Maruader says it does. Thus, we have a Forum!!!!!
@AverageJoe1
Hey, y'all skidaddle over to page two of CA Senate thread. we got a live one. Wildgrass suggests companies get involved in personal lives/finances of employees. I made some pertinent points, did not even bother with what they would do if one guy is unmarried or has one child, while another employee has 6 kids.
These libs are absolutely unbelievable.
