@vivify said"So we can conclude Trump hasn't been listening to Fauci in 2017 or 2020. Right? Doesn't that make Trump at fault?"

[quote]The Trump administration has barred Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, from speaking publicly about the novel coronavirus without approval, according to The New York Times. Fauci is one of the ...[text shortened]... s a complete overreaction.
You still think it's an overreaction after72,000 deaths in 5 months?
The comments Fauci made about this being nothing were in January. He was freely speaking to the press at the time. That is why his comments are on video.
Fauci flipped his script. His messaging was becoming contradictory to his own messaging!
"President Donald Trump's administration has barred one of the top US experts on infectious diseases from speaking out about the coronavirus outbreak without permission from the White House, The New York Times reported Thursday, in an apparent bid to stop contradictory messages about the public-health crisis."
Also: There is an editors note.
"Editor's note (March 24): In the weeks since this article's publication on February 28, Dr. Anthony Fauci appears to have been communicating more freely and has regularly spoken alongside the president and given interviews."
"Actually, I'll note that Fauci was actually correct. Its very low risk for the USA. Its a complete overreaction.
You still think it's an overreaction after72,000 deaths in 5 months?"
Yes
in 2017, 56,000,000 People Died in the World.
The virus is predominantly killing people already who are on knocking on heavens door. Its not likely that at the end of the year the worldwide death toll would have been substantially different.
Even if it had, humans are already overpopulating the planet. We are entirely out of balance with the natural ecology. We will have an extinction type event (probably of our own making ) soon enough regardless. Did you know that an average human respires 0.9 kg CO2/day into the atmosphere? The human race is responsible for inputting 10^12 kg CO2 into the atmosphere annually by just breathing.
