National news media has a structural problem. They only tell the viewres a warped view of what they already think is true, they are receiving ratings by the minute, and the financial incentives are to tell the viewer what they want to hear. Really? I'm surprised. Op-eds of course will have a spin, but I don't see a lot of local newspaper main news rooms that act like Fox News. They tend to stick to facts, wait for more info if not available, and issue corrections when needed.
