Peas in pods also provide good protein. Nuts are very nutritious as well yumyum (sorry for allergic people).
What about tomotoes, courgettes, squashes? They are like fruits, aren't they in away?
Sun-dried fruits, tomotoes, delicious!
They have pips

There are some people who want to be eaten alive... should we harvest them?
I'm not going to eat fruit because it wants me to, but because it is good for me. I'm perfectly happy eating meat too. Steaks don't run away.
Steak most certainly will run away if still attached to the cow!

In England we grow enough fruit to go all year. The quietest months on the fruit front are Late March to early May.
As for the protien point soya products (technically vegetables) give good protien
I went to a meeting last week about setting up a raw food vegan restaurant. This would be possible. Dehydrating fruit is another way of securing year round supplies.

Every city/town should have shared orchards!! Apples, plums, pears, cherries, damsons etc., harvest and jar them for winter supply.
Use lots of lots of carbohydrates to produce ethanol, which may predominantly used as energy source for ethanol fuelled cars.
Future is bright, pretty and smells good.

Useless fact trumping for the day.
Here is another one. Some people from the Manchester area (UK) say "trump" when they actually mean "fart". I bet you didn't know that. I wonder if Donald Trump knows....
Originally posted by 7ate9I don't think I have tried a Paw Paws, but I think mangos are delicious. I chuck lots of fruit into a blender every morning, add a bit of water or apple juice or milk. The colour is coming back into my cheeks.
Guavas freshly picked from a tree on the side of the road in Raratonga are my favourite fruit. Mango's & Paw Paw's aren't much to my liking, but Oranges yeah...
