@cheesemaster saidAre the soldiers real or tin?
So I'm more of a nationalist who wants marching troops with tanks at every corner and everyone is the same in regards to race and ideology.
Is that a racist communist?
That could be a fascist too right?
Authoritarian?
@no1marauder saidThis is already known information that was covered extensively back when Trump leaked intel to the Russians the first time. The legality isn't the issue, it's the lack of consistency with conservatives when it comes to Trump committing acts they consider traitorous.
The President of the United States can give classified information to whoever he pleases. Unless it is military information given prior to an attack on the US, he's not a "traitor" for doing so:

@vivify saidSnowden wasn't empowered to decide what was for the greater good and therefore he and those like him should be punished.
I agree Snowden should be pardoned. What he did was a crime but it was not motivated by malice or self-serving reasons. He thought his actions were for the greater good.
@quackquack saidTrump pardoned scumbags like Joe Arpaio, who targeted and arrested Hispanics without due process, subjected them to inhumane acts and was convicted for it.
Snowden wasn't empowered to decide what was for the greater good and therefore he and those like him should be punished.
If Arpaio can get a pardon from Trump, surely Snowden can, right?
@quackquack saidWe are all empowered to decide what is for the greater good, people like Snowden just have the backbone to wield that power.
Snowden wasn't empowered to decide what was for the greater good and therefore he and those like him should be punished.
He should be pardoned obviously.

@vivify saidIn a democracy, no one should get a pardon. If you commit a crime you should face the consequences and not get to escape because the president is your friend

There is a need for classified information and those with access to them should know that there are legal consequences for releasing that information. It is not behavior that we want to encourage and treating Snowden as something other than a criminal makes the world a more dangerous place.

@kevcvs57 saidYou could not be more wrong. We have laws. Thus society and not individuals decide what is for the greater good. Those who believe they are above the law are attacking the core of our system and should be punished the maximum.

@quackquack saidI agree with no one receiving pardons due to being a president's friend. Both Trump and Bill Clinton are guilty of this.

Valid point.
@vivify saidI guess we agree but unfortunately, I don't think partisan pardons will decrease in the future.

@quackquack saidYou talked about the greater good which has nothing to do with laws in and of themselves. To ignore and break egregious laws like those not permitting you to highlight the possible war crimes committed by your own military is in the interest of the greater good. We obviously aren’t going to agree on what the greater good looks like so it maybe shouldn’t be used in a legalistic argument.

Morally I believe Snowden should be exonerated, a pardon doesn’t go far enough.
