But a game is a game. Of course there are rules. I play Civilisation. It's not on the menu of options to plunder and rape a city you conquer. So it can't happen.

The tea-bagging thing is not a feature in any game. It's done just by tapping down repeatedly on a controller; so it takes a bit of imagination but that is the intended effect. Think of it like when people use eggplant emojis as a penis.

But you're right, the lines of reality will get blurred in ways we probably couldn't imagine. I never even thought about touch sensors, which already exist.

Keep in mind that even in online games where characters kill each other, some behavior is prohibited, like using abusive, racist language. Tea-bagging was also mentioned, and some game companies ban the practice (when you simulate putting your genitals on another character's face by having the character squat down repeatedly). So unwelcomed behavior exists even in violent ga ...[text shortened]... (and probably even more) real as the emotion we already encounter from people just using keyboards.

The new multiplayer Halo Infinite, which includes player/player combat/teaming interaction, has banned tea-bagging. This doesn't mean someone will figure out how to do it anyway.

In a game setting, tea-bagging is just your character squatting over the face of the guy you just killed in game. Squatting or crouching is allowed in such games as it is a motion your character might do within the game setting (ducking behind an obstacle, for instance). There is no actual depiction of genitals or placing them in a victim's mouth. This has gone on forever. Most players might get pissed if it happens to them, but then they just find the guy next time, and do it to them. Not generally considered a big deal in PvP (player vs player) games. It's been going on long enough that it is considered bad taste maybe, something younger players might do as an 'in-your-face' gesture, but most people just 'drive on'. As I said, most people don't make a huge screaming deal of it.

That's what I said ATY, you'll see my post above the one you quote was deleted not because I used the word that rhymes with bigger but because either:

I tried to hide the word that rhymes with bigger from sensitive types by using the word that rhymes with sleep but starts with the second letter of the alphabet...or

I used the name of a character from the young rascals, if you're a fan of Sopranos you may recall Tony using the word when speaking of Meadows then boyfriend Noah.
