EXTERMINATING? That's a bit rough.
The worse thing Israel is doing is to only allow water to flow through the pipes into the west bank and other Palestinian territorries, allowing only 4 hours a day and the water actually delivered was all but toxic, it could not grow crops.
?
Just a bit rough then eh...

I was in no way approving of the Israeli action, but I was there and saw it first hand. I could see what was happening up close. Some of our Palestinian friends were not allowed to go to school half the time at the same school my kids attended, every time there was a bombing, the Israeli's would close the gates to the territories and those kids went without school sometimes two weeks at a time. It pissed us all off, even our jewish friends, well all except this one guy, I won't name names but he carried TWO pistols with him when he went to his illegally occupied house taken over by Israel, I think they carried him out kicking and screaming when they agreed to give back the settlements (not before buldozing the houses and burning what was left...)
I'm just saying there are two sides to the issue.

Talk about hyperbole. EXTERMINATING? That's a bit rough. I lived in Jerusalem for three years, been going there since 1990. My kids graduated from the Anglican International School there, we had a great time, especially as folk musicians, playing some nice venues, but we still had friends on the Palestinian side. The worse thing Israel is doing is to only a ...[text shortened]... concerned, Palestinians are trash. They even like the Bedouins better than the Palestinians.
Good post, good points.

One of the biggest problems in the Arab political world is that they use the plight of the Palestians to fuel anti west sentiments but they don't really care enough to act. Many muslim countries will pay the families of suicide bombers but do nothing for the economic benefit of the Palestinians.

For me though its all the more reason to help them, it would prove them wrong.
