I've read your comment. I just wonder if any articles that meet your criteria for objectivity exist. I'd like to see one.
For instance reading the actual (binding) UN Security Council and (non-binding) Un General Assembly resolutions together with the interpretations the involved parties give in the media, is an excellent way of exploring the situation.

Reading the actual documents/agreements relevant to a certain situation also helps one from spouting nonsense about a certain issue:

As you can see there isn't a simple instant solution to the problem. It is a matter of getting off one's lazy ideological ass and get to work.

The above link refers to a binding UN Security Council resolution dated January 2006 and deals with the Lebanese issue. It should be rather interesting to read and to evaluate this resolution in the perspective of all the political propaganda from all sides, usually playing the blame game, in the perspective of all the accompanying misinformation (one of the most popular misinformation, also in these forums is: "Israel never obeys Security Council resolutions and the other side always is." ) and in the perspective of the events now taking place in Lebanon.

you guys really ought to watch the Israeli news, especially the operational clips form the IAF. no sound, black and white kinda fuzzy but watching the rocket launcher on the roof of a resedential building get blown up by a percision bomb, worth a thousand words. heres a simple translation.
launchpad on resedential buildings = civilian casualties
and don't anyone be complaining about it.

Originally posted by DelmerNo complaints from me either. I'm looking forward to some good war footage. I know it's too much to hope that both sides completely slaughter one another, but I figure in the end Israel's gonna beat the crap out of everyone the way they always do.

Should make for some good highlights though! Hell in a few months the whole thing will be on the History channel.
