I HATE being the one to have to put this on the Forum. You libs are pitiful. You subscribe to this, do you not?
It's the darn conservative rags spreading this nonsense around, not the libs. Kids are influenced by this. You think kids would be paying this much attention if there weren't 150 pieces of anti-trans legislation working their way through state governments. In many cases, Republicans are writing and passing bills that don't appear to address any real problem, they are just looking for a headline and a sound bite that can run on FoxNews and stir up their voters.
It's not a non-issue, but it also does not deserve 12 threads on the forum.

Anyone remember, ''The Death Panels,?
.......'Obama's brown suit,?
.....'Taking away the guns?''...........''The Teletubbies are gay,?''
......................ad nausea.
@averagejoe1 saidI assume that in the midst of all the back and forth in this thread ........
You are right, telling kids the truth is foremost the most important. But, So is reading them nursery rhymes, which are not 'truth', and the cartoons we feed them tell them that animals can talk. Hmmmm
Have you read what is being taught to 5,6,and 7 year olds? Check that out, and tell us you are OK with the subject matter. You see, the questions that will come from t ...[text shortened]... se years when I ask why you keep wanting to change everything. Libs are indoctrinating our children.
You bring your children to church on Sundays ?
I raise this question because you brought up indoctrination in your post.
Just wondering......
@wildgrass saidWildgrass,,,,,,Same story, 11th verse. You Will NOT answer the simple issue of this post. Do you think individual classroom teachers should talk sex to 5, 6, and 7 year olds? I've given examples of the aberration above, like a teacher living an alternative life style and having a positive discussion about it. Promoting it.

What if I were a rich teacher and told children that if they don't get rich, they will be unhappy. Wildgrass?
Note: Wildgrass cannot disconnect himself, disassociate himself, from 'legislation, state governments, passing bills, republicans and Fox News". It festers in the minds of libs.
You represent all the libs on this Forum who simply cannot bring themselves to stay on one issue. What has legislation and state governments and repubs and fox news got to do with this issue?
Wildgrass?
Pitiful .
@averagejoe1 saidEXCEPT they're NOT doing that.

He's right. Republicans and Fox News are pushing the fear issues to keep their electorate fearful because that's the only way they can keep their attention long enough to get through the midterms.
It's exactly like CRT. the elementary schools are NOT teaching it, despite what you've heard from conspiracy websites and Tucker Carlson.
Stop the fear, stop reading fear websites, stop watching fear TV.
When did it become so cool to be so afraid?
(Cue EoT telling us how "libs are cramming it down our throats".)
@suzianne saidWhen FOX reports a fact, you blame FOX for the substance of the fact. You need to work on that if you want to earn some creds on the Forum.

Here is a link, I cannot do research for you, I am a bit busy. There are many, I just can't must search past FOX. But it is a fact, so should not pose a ;problem for you.
. So, what say you? Have teachers teach willy-nilly in classrooms,? You are aware, Sue,that once it all begins, one question leads to another???? And there is this strange teacher, maybe a 'substitute' teacher, who cannot WAIT to tell the kids about alternative lifestyles, and things like "you can be a boy or a girl, tell us what you are??"
You are losing on this thread, as is Wildgrass, et al. I have noticed the erudite Marauder doesn't want to touch it.

@suzianne saidYou have a tattoo, you wear a hoodie. Anger and racism are not a good thing.
"Yada, yada, yada."
So,We are different, but it is OK. Capitalism (me) and Racism-and-all-it- encompasses (you), do not gel well, but we can chat, can we not?
We can discuss good things, too, you know. The market is up 344 points as I type! Good for me! And your govt is considering helping Ukraine, $800M in military aid, Good for you!,,,although McHill says we should not have military strength to share with other countries.!!
And we go round and round.
@averagejoe1 saidThis is nonsense Joe. lol a "rich teacher"

I'm not a teacher so I won't tell them how to teach but I know kids ask questions. Lots and lots of questions. The kids come to the teachers. What are these teachers supposed to tell their students?
Because.... these kids' parents watch FoxNews in their sleep. The opinion pages of the local news papers are talking about CRT and transgender youths and anti-trans legislative bills. First graders also watch legislative debates at school, where the politicians are speaking directly to this issue. Then the students trying to be responsible citizens ask their teachers what the heck the talking heads on TV are talking about. The idea of transgendering is all over the cultural zeitgeist right now because conservatives will .... not .... stop ... talking about it.
What are teachers supposed to do with an issue that right wingers can't stop zinging around? Whistle and walk away?

What you're suggesting is that gender fluidity isn't a thing within society. But it clearly is. You're constantly posting thread upon thread about it.

Gender fluidity is a 'thing' for a few small percent of society, led by a legion of woke freeks.

@wildgrass saidUhhhhh, here’s a great idea. Teachers do the same thing that they have been doing for hundreds of years. I have to ask you lives one more time, why do you have to change everything? All of a sudden you want these teachers to teach 56 and seven year olds how a couple gets in a bed and does their thing. To make babies but why? What is the deal? How do you justify this? Why cannot you answer these little issues.

@kevcvs57 saidThat's a fooking LIE, kev.
Thumbs up for the first line but then you couldn’t resist reverting to type.
I don’t imagine you’ll ever figure out it’s you right wing types that are using the kids as pawns though.
We conservs are of the "Three R's" type, reading, writing, and arithmetic. It's the freeking WOKE morons
that changed the curriculum to promote the self-absorbed gender challenged.
Pre-school kids no more need to know about gender fluidity than they need to know about war or cancer.
Quit fukking with the kids

As a society, it's definitely not a new thing to discuss boys acting like girls.
What's changed? The rhetoric from Republicans who want to mold society in their image because they can't win elections based on their horrendous record of fiscal irresponsibility.

@averagejoe1 saidWho's changing what now? 150 pieces of anti-trans legislation (that's new laws that are being changed) are working their way through state legislatures right now, all of them written by hard right Republican conservatives.

That's real change. I don't have a clue what kind of change you're talking about.
