That is why the army is going to have labor camps. It is for prisoners alright but they will be Jonesing to put a lot of folks in these camps.

That's right. They have mandatory insurance here, and the concentration camps are way over capacity.

You probably don't live in a fascist country. Keep watching as events unfold, maybe you will be the one to set the historical record straight as to what is taking place.

I think as Jon Stewart pointed out America mandates that cars have to be insured but humans don't, which sort of demonstrates the US mindset on which it considers to be more important.

Property rights not human rights are obviously what the US Constitution/Bill of Rights are designed to protect!

Better yet, why would the government mandate you have it? I think they full well know some people will buck the system, otherwise, why have such an outrageous law?

Perhaps they prefer outsourcing their medical care to another country? Perhaps they are young and healthy and would prefer to spend all their income getting themselves financially established? Of course, that is the beauty of freedom. They can do as they please and not have to answer to you, to me, or to Big Brother.

Wouldn't it be great if all the conservatives simply opted for prison? Think what would happen if they locked up all the tax payers. Then we would all have free health care to boot!!

So how does this conspiracy work when the Government mandates you get it for your car otherwise you cannot drive it on public roads?

Driving a car is not the same as health care. I hope you can see the difference. You CHOOSE to drive your car, in fact, it is not a requirement and you will not be sent to jail for not having one......yet that is. 😛

Well, one very good reason is that people don't walk in emergency rooms uninsured like they do in the US. This keeps costs of insurance down, since more people are paying. Furthermore, it's to protect stupid people against themselves since everyone can afford insurance here.

stewart is the pinnacle of liberal wisdom .... next to colbert ... the twin peaks ....

comprehensive insurance is not mandatory. comprehensive insures your own property, like health insurance insures your body.

liability is mandatory. cars kill people regularly, and liabilty pays the bills of the guy you hit.

Again, freedom vs government "mandates" or basically laws forcing you to do things.

Why do you need a freedom to not be insured? Why would anyone not want insurance?

Why do you need force to be insured? If everyone wants it, let them save and invest in their healthcare themselves. Why doesn't the government just do a subsidy?
