“A US woman has been shot while trying to remove a Nazi flag from someone's front yard in the state of Oklahoma.
Garfield County Sheriff's office said the woman had been at a party nearby when she took one of two flags being flown outside Alexander Feaster's home.
Mr Feaster, 44, then reportedly shot her [4 times - ed] ...[text shortened]... is.
I can but wonder if anyone is going to defend the shooting; unhinge their society some more...
A single nut job is not an indication of tell tale signs of a society.

The woman had the flag in her own yard. I doubt she cares if people like you do not wish to talk to her.

But she did nothing wrong, unlike the vandals and looters.
It was a man who had the flag and he shot a woman who was trying to take it.

A lesson to vandals.

Enough said.
My stepdad trained me with rifles.
If it was me it would have been one shot.

I have no need for socialists I can assure you.

That is your gig missy, and I bet you have no problem with Marxists either.

You love all the murderous political ideologies.
I said a Nazi flag, not a socialist flag.

Do you have one in your backyard? Or maybe a gay pride flag in your closet? You tell me which is more likely. No, wait, I can guess.

But Nazis are okay?

Reminds me of a story from 10 years ago -- a friend of mine found a scooter painted in the Nazi flag design. He began defacing it with some metal object that was nearby -- the owner, the guy comes out and begins attacking my friend. After they break up for a minute, he pulled out an ax that he had in the back of the scooter, and fortunately the police then arrive and arrest them both... It ends with him sitting in a jail cell for half a day and being forced to pay damages to the weirdo with a Nazi scooter, which more than covers the damage to the scooter, but also insures Nazi scooter guy has some spending money.

If someone is doing something this provocative... it's because:

(1) they want a situation to unfold exactly like what happened, or
(2) they are unwell

Either you are falling into a trap, or you are tormenting someone who already is burning in their own mental hell.

I live in Texas which has quite interesting laws on guns . If you shoot someone who is damaging or trying to steal your car that is legal . Also if they are in your house you can shoot them . But what this nutjob did ,would be murder in Texas and I would agree .

Is it a single nutjob,
Or do you see a pattern?

Do you see a pattern even repeated in this thread?

Ok, the man had the right to protect his property from the woman.

As far as I am concerned if you enter a person's property to vandalize the property, rob, or attack, the owner has the right to kill you.

People should not have the right to enter another's property to do harm.

I find it disturbing that people around here believe an American should not have the right to fly a Nazi flag.

Heh. You would.

But if you want to pork a Hitler blow-up doll to a techno version of the Horst-Wessel-Lied, that's okay by me. So long as you keep it in the closet.

And yet you don't think Americans should be allowed to burn the US flag, either.

He doesn't? Dayum!

@kevcvs57 I’m just trying to imagine this story being transposed to a civilised country but I can’t.

Priceless
