If we choose to use your analogy of "carbon Nazi's", then your method of pubescent rebellion is somewhat akin to being in early 1940's Germany and saying
"I'll show those Nazi's and convert to Judaism!"
I think you'll find it's not a very effective strategy.
A much better way to "fight the good fight" as you seem to see it is to fight fire with f ...[text shortened]... with your little "I'm the anti-hero" scenario if it makes you feel like a man.

I do all of those things. What really makes me mad is that no matter how hard I try, I still can't get a carbon footprint anywhere near big enough to compare to the Live Aid concerts.

If you don't mind the slight increase in your energy bill:
1). Exchange your car for a large SUV
2). Leave unnecessary lights and appliances on in the office and home for as long as possible and as often as possible.
3). Cut down all unnecessary trees.
4). Drive your car for completely frivolous journeys.
5). Make sure you're the only one in ...[text shortened]... n't want to have say, "I sat by and did nothing!" do you? How embarrassing would that be?
Sounds like a plan to me If the United States is on contributing 4% to the carbon pollution problem ..... who is making the rest of the mess?
Originally posted by SMSBear716The US contributes more like 25%, despite only making up 0.5% of the planet's population. We're only asking people to clean up after themselves.

Originally posted by SpastiGovI presume by fighting fire with fire, you mean using the scientific approach then? You know, the one with evidence and logical development of ideas and stuff.

If you had such evidence, or logic, I didn't see you post it, and I've been following your one man campaign against reason.
Being what you refer to as a "loonie lefty", I can tell you that if you come up with a single scrap of evidence for your claims, just one little peer reviewed article out of the thousands published, that holds up to the minimum of scrutiny, then you can argue your point standing on your legs.
Just one.
