You've made it quite clear that you like to avoid giving sources so that you can occasionally say things that aren't true. I've caught you more than once.
The fact remains that lepomis made a factual statement and you kept calling it slander simply because you didn't know it was true.

No, he didn't. The link I was given does not support his statement.

I read the article selectively enough, then you are correct.

I see one Democrat saying that if Republicans remain united it would be a problem for them. This is certainly true.
This is from the article...

But of late there have been signs that the commander of U.S. forces might be preparing something more generally positive. Clyburn said that would be "a real big problem for us."

What does that mean to you?

this is from the majority whip.

That's not a quote. It's a partial quote. The author could easily be spinning this. I want to see what was said, not some guy's interpretation of what was said.

I used to use that trick to get A's on my English papers. I'd open books randomly and pick quotes that sounded like they supported my position, and assumed my teacher wouldn't bother to look up the context of the quote (or even the rest of the quote if I only used part of it). You gotta be vigilant.

Well, I wasn't trying to trick you... what would be the point?

anyway here is a link to a video... mind you it is short and there could be something said afterward that negates his statement, but if there was you would think his aids would have made it public.
