I'm not exactly sure who's brilliant idea it was to have their high school students take a field trip in a war zone with apparently no plan to get them out before August 31st, but I have every confidence they'll soon be home.

Yes, I “hope” (im not crazy about that empty word) I hope that the 24 students get home. Whew.
But the issue on the table is that you said adults are there, and want to stay there? And i added that there are students, and all you can respond about is the fool that took them there.

lol you and your pearl clutching. The deal was signed early last year and it was obvious that the Taliban would take over. Whatever happened to individuals making decisions and living with the consequences of those decisions? Isn't that a right-wing thing?

President Trump had four years to cut a deal w the Taliban, bring the civilians home, and draw down the troops in an orderly manner. Why the delay, huh? There was never any guarantee he would get a second term.
