If the situation in the Middle-East doesn’t start de-escalating within a week, I’m advising you to postpone your holidays in Israel, Lebanon, Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, Yemen and Iran for the coming months…
Who’d have thought a few thousand terrorists (Hamas) could destabalise a whole region? Who’d have thought Israel killing thousands of Palestinian children could trigger a world was (or at the very least a world war by proxy in a complete region) ?
Good news for Biden. Wars generally help current US presidents’ popularity…
Now, will Pakistan retaliate against Iran? Or will they be talked down?
For a wee hint into this further escalation I suggest you look into Jaish al-Adl; a Sunni terrorist group in Iran / Pakistan.
And who is implicit in financing them.
Ahhhh… oh yes.
And for a small wager: should the Middle East escalate, I’d hold out on the holiday to Taiwan as well…
@happy-chappy saidWell, that is, indeed, reassuring.
Penny Wong ,Australia's foreign minister, is going to fix everything unless America interfears

Don't bite down before disengaging tounge from cheek.
@happy-chappy saidYou forgot to say: "...to be honest..."
Note to self.

@happy-chappy saidHamas didn't give up yet.
In all honesty though, this maelstrom is sickening to be part of. All of mankind will be affected by these atrocities.
How does fox media still find people to say that Israel are only defending themselves after over 100 days of slaughter?
Rajk999 will answer for us.
@happy-chappy
How do you fight people who use their own citizens as human shields and then shoot them in the back if they try to run away?

@happy-chappy saidIs Hamas still attacking and firing rockets?

Then Israel is defending, and counter attacking
Over 100 Days? Likely it will go on for several months
It will go on until Hamas
- stops attacking
- surrenders
- gives up hostages.
Are more children going to die?
Yes.
Do I feel sorry for them?
No.
Its their parents fault for being so stupid.
I feel more pity for people who actually want to live. 25,000 people die every day of starvation, about 10,000 of them are children.... EVERY DAY !! I am truly sorry for these people.
Those who support terrorists, who dance in the street when Jews are killed, who willfully send their kids out to be human shields ... I have no pity for them when they reap the just rewards for their stupidity.
I hope this makes my position clear. No need to reference me again.
@sonhouse saidUsing human shields is a war crime according to the Geneva Convention. Israel is within its right to shoot both human shield and Hamas soldiers. Placing military hardware and weapons in civilian buildings, residential buildings, hospitals, schools and religious buildings, is also a war crime according to the Geneva Convention. Israel is within its right to target and bomb these as well.

@rajk999 saidErr no they are not, they are destroying residential area after residential area knowing its full of civilians, it’s a war crime open and shut case.

If they want to dislodge Hamas they’d just do it with boots on the ground, house to house like real soldiers, there would still be genuine collateral damage but Israel has opted for communal punishment and ‘hey if we hit some Hamas targets all the better’ and that’s a classic war crime
