Okay, let's define "politically motivated" and the implications since you want me to think it is such a benign normalcy.

When Bush V Gore was decided by the supreme court it was a 5 to 4 decision.
Was that decision politically motivated?
If a politician isn’t politically motivated he’s…

Agreed.

And what’s more, if the court case(s) make trump more or less popular is neither here nor there.
You can’t let justice be a popularity contest.

If the prosecution is moving forward with charges, they obviously think they’ve got a good case.
"If the prosecution is moving forward with charges, they obviously think they’ve got a good case."

Not if it is politically motivated. Didn't you create a whole thread about how Clarence Thomas did worse and got away with it? You said he should be indicted and removed from the supreme court. I agree with that, but there he sits on the court in this 2 tiered system of justice.

Judges are not politicians, but they can be politically motivated.
Bush v Gore was a completely fair decision then, right? Not counting every vote was completely reasonable and democrats just had to cry for a while to mourn over their loss. Right? 😛

I would presume there’s a difference between jurisprudence and holding a trial.

And there are juries, judges, etc.
Or are you suggesting the US doesn’t have checks and balances in place, to stop politically motivated trials?

Just listen to trump. The man is a con artist. He constantly lies. He admits to grabbing pussy. He dry humps the flag on stage.
I don’t think a prosecution needs to be politically motivated to go after him. Socially motivated, rightiously motivated, sanely motivated… all possible.

Or, maybe, just maybe, trump broke the law and they have evidence of this.

Not the same thing. With the DA you're merely accusing him of bias with no evidence. Thomas accepting lavish gifts from one of the largest Republican donors is clear evidence of corruption.

Unlike a SCOTUS judge, DAs needs to present solid legal evidence to the courts; Justices merely need to give their opinions. No matter how biased DAs are they still need sound objective reasons for their cases.

"are you suggesting the US doesn’t have checks and balances in place, to stop politically motivated trials?"

Yes. Did checks and balances keep Epstein from getting a light sentence before the bigger scandal was exposed later?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_trial

Did checks and balances keep Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel from getting suicided while there were coincidental camera malfunctions? How do you think the mafia kills people in prison? We all know it happens. It is just the dirty secret we don't want to think about. We fool ourselves into thinking that our greedy billionaires are not like the mafia.

Did you see that video clip of Bill Gates being asked about Epstein and said "well, he is dead so.."? Maybe Bill Gates had him killed. Epstein probably had Gates on film doing an under aged girl.

@Suzianne

Those who supported him regardless what the evidence was will continue to do so regardless what evidence yet comes. Those who knew he was a conman from from the git go don’t need any more evidence. So we’re all just waiting for the wheels of justice to grind slowly on to some conclusion. It’s an agonizing process, and the fact that Trump himself does not see how this process itself is draining the nation’s resources at a critical juncture in history is testament to his lack of any comprehension of anything beyond his own aggrandizement.

Maybe he didn't. It could have been Prince Andrew or Biden.

A politician that is a con artist who lies. Am I supposed to be surprised at that?
At least he is honest about grabbing pussy. Biden will not admit to grabbing Tara Reade's pussy.

What is this about dry humping the flag on stage? That is a new one for me. Did he sniff a little girl's hair and kiss her like Biden does? You are obviously putting a priority on vengeance instead of justice because you hate republicans.

Don't be silly, it was a far right sleeper agent from China: it must have been Soros! With his very own hands, as well. (Rolls eyes, champs jaws.)

This is correct, shav should have noticed that he was hugging the flag, Shav is spreading propaganda. Luckily, we know that he does that and just have a good laugh.

That's a case of conservatives committing crimes. Do you think criminals shouldn't be imprisoned if they're conservative?
