Why have moderators banned my friends, who were not me, and they allow this hatefulness, this title. I’m not speaking of the always-despicable divegeter, but rather the reputation of this great website forum. Curious indeed.
Which friends of yours have been banned ?

It seems your Messiah President persists in making himself a magnet for this kind of abuse.
I don't condone the abuse. But geez !! He's not helping !!

btw, how much do you think that motorcade cost the taxpayers today ?
While you're complaining about free health care.

As it turns out, he left the hospital today, climbed into a motorcade, rode around the block, waved at some trailer park folks, and returned to the hospital.

He's doing fine. Oxygen, please !! 😠
Yes, all at great risk to the Secret Service guys who had to chauffeur his stupid ass around in a hermetically sealed vehicle designed to withstand a chemical attack. People are just props to be used for the advancement of his sociopathic self.

I don't want Trump to be dead yet. I want him hacking up bits of lung and gasping for air between now and election day. That should shut down his superspreader rallies cold, thereby potentially saving many, many worthier lives. Also it would spare the nation the agony of enduring another "debate" that he would shout through like a truculent two-year-old.
Hahaha

Oh grow up. I got banned as well... because of you and your ilk who are complete whimps. Bunch of right-wing snowflakes who can only dish out, but as soon as someone retorts, you all run off to daddy to whine, weep and wallow.

This is from Dr. Conley describing the muddle up of information about the state of trump’s health:

From the BBC:
However, he acknowledged giving an overly upbeat description of Mr Trump's condition a day earlier: "I didn't want to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction. And in doing so, you know, it came off that we were trying to hide something, which wasn't necessarily true."

Now, there are two very interesting points in this “let us clear up the miscommunication” statement.

The minor point being: how can information given by a press release steer the course of an illness?
Is the good man suggesting that saying A or B to the media can actually influence Covid-19 in a patient?

The major point (when clearing up what has previously been said) is: “... it might look like we were covering something up... which isn’t NECCESARILY true...”

Really? So you may well HAVE BEEN covering something up?

Seriously. You can’t make this πŸ’© up!

On this matter of Dear Leader's health, as in all matters, the current White House staff is proving to be as honest and open as the regime of North Korea. So, seemingly, it was lessons on governmental obfuscation that Trump was getting from Kim Jong-un when they were dating a couple years ago.

NO.
They've always downplayed the seriousness of his condition and said he was doing well.
You are making up stuff again.
"They" ?? It depends entirely on who you ask and on what day you get an answer.

Why are you "checking" on the President's physical condition with a bunch of people on a chess site? I doubt many of them work at Walter Reed. πŸ™„
The thread title’s ubiquitous passive interrogative is what could be called a “rhetorical gadget”. It is a tool to draw attention to the OP content which provides a slightly tongue-in-cheek trigger to open discussion about the various information streams surrounding the Presidents health.

The reason I’ve asked it on a chess site is because I am a long time member of this community and enjoy the cut and thrust of the exchanges and value the opinions of most of the posters here, whether I agree with them or not.

Of course my being forthright, opinionated and argumentative means that my forum presence tends to draw flack from those who either disagree with my views, don’t like my forum personality or are just being unimaginative and petty, drawing cards from the bottom of the deck in an effort to gain attention from their own local in-crowd without having make an effort to comment on the thread content.

I hope I’ve answered your question in a manner fitting with your perceived limitations of this fine group of posters?

Note to the moderators and all you suddenly “right on” former extremists with your newly acquired snowflake sensitivities.

I don’t want Trump dead, I don’t want him to suffer and I conscientiously object to wishing democratically elected leaders ill health or death.

Trumps death by whatever cause will be a hollow victory; the victory is America voting him out of office and by a large margin.

I hope that clears up any misunderstandings and wipes away those tears.

The best case scenario I had envisioned by the events of the last 5 days after the diagnosis was that Trump would spend some time in the hospital, feel the full effects of this insidious virus, and then make a recovery.
No recovery at home (like Melania), along with self-isolution or quarantine to give him a false sense of a “little flu”, but the real thing.

And then hopefully come to his senses.
After his stunt yesterday, with the joy ride before his adoring masses (a couple of hundred people at most), while having several Secret Service agents in the car with him and now facing quarantine........

It seems that was too much at ask.......sigh.... 😞
