@earl-of-trumps saidYes, Trump was a businessman. A Corporatist.
No, Kev I really don't remember that.
Please recall, Obama had a record as a public servant when elected. Trump never did. Diff.
Businessmen should NEVER be President.
The Presidency is considered public service.
Businessmen do not believe in "public service".
After setting themselves at the head of the pig trough for so long, all they believe in is "self service".
Ergo...

I'm afraid I don't follow. The "peoples" opinions are mostly given to them. Generally, we're typically nothing but mirrors reflecting incident information. The key to perceived reaction is controlling the source. noob a try have since been shown a lot of propaganda in the MSM, too.
The MSM is supposedly not the seasoned pols or deep state.
They can slant in any way they want and they have decidedly slanted
anti Trump **before** he took office.
@suzianne saidAs far as the "trough" aspect goes, I think that D Pelosi who is worth $160 million,

has been doing a lot more of that over the years than Trump
And to be fair, Republicans have, too!
But this is such a big PLUS for Trump because he had not been sucking from
the trough all his career, his wealth did not come from evil, thieving
kickback schemes.
That is why people felt that he is worth a chance.
You go with one of the Old Salts of the congress, you KNOW you are going to be screwed.
@earl-of-trumps saidBaloney. Yes, he HAS.
But this is such a big PLUS for Trump because he had not been sucking from

His entire family has sucked from the Corporate trough for as long as they've been alive on the planet.
And what do you call a man that builds casinos and then tells the construction people who built them to go pound sand, sue me if you want to get paid?
A CON MAN. Do con men work for a living? No, they scam people, that's what they do. Trump was uniquely bred to become a corrupt president. And here he is.
The difference between the right and the left is that we recognized him for what he is first.
@earl-of-trumps saidThe war between left and right is mostly a diversion - a smokescreen. The real war that's brewing is between the super-rich and the rest of the population.
It's a good question!
The real problems with left/right factions boils down to this:
The left wants total control and will not stop at democratic
principles to guide the country.

@earl-of-trumps said“ What did Trump really know of Trump the business man's politics?”
@kevcvs57 I don’t understand why having a history of public service is a negative.
It's not automatically a negative. It does reveal who you are, where you stand.
What did Trump really know of Trump the business man's politics?
Nada
Isn’t that a good reason for not voting for him though? POTUS is the highest political Office (literally) on the planet. I’m thinking you probably don’t want an apprentice taking the reigns.

There won't be any "revolution" at least in a violent sense.
Instead as the US grows more ethnically diverse, better educated and the younger generation takes over, we'll see a country where right wing ideas are seem as more and more of the anachronism they are. Within 20 years the view of an Earl will be as fringe in the US as they are in Europe.
@suzianne saidThere is no reason why a businessman can't be president. In fact, understanding economics and efficiency is one of if not the most important quality of leading our nation.

Not as public servants. If he is an unscrupulous businessman, let the courts decide that
And further, the Trump family did not facilitate and such gifts from congress,
the congress people did, underscoring my complaint. I, personally, have a real
ax to grind with people get the publics TRUST by winning an election, and then
stab them in the back by stealing their money. Trump never ran for office so he
did not violate any such trust of the people.
And what do you call a man that builds casinos and then tells the construction people who built them to go pound sand, sue me if you want to get paid?
I have no idea what happened there, and don't think it applies because any
wrongdoing Trump did will be judged in a court of law, unlike the wrongdoing
that politicians get away with. and again, Trump was not an elected official that
violated the trust of the people. BIG difference.
A CON MAN. Do con men work for a living? No, they scam people, that's what they do. Trump was uniquely bred to become a corrupt president. And here he is.Please tell that to the DA of the Southern District of New York. If he truly did act the CON MAN, let the law come down on him. Since it
did not, then maybe your complaint is a bad rumor. I don't know. Same with his
tax returns. The IRS has Ok'd him. Good enough for me. So far.
The difference between the right and the left is that we recognized him for what he is first.
I can only judge him by his criminal record in that regard, or his lack of same.
Truly, I cannot call him as evil as congress people that CON the American people
into thinking they are the friend of the people, the protector of the people, and
then they SHAFT the people who trust them, **with impunity**.
All our past presidents, Obama, Bush, the Clintons, and many form congress,'
FILTHY RICH, by scamming 331 million american people. Totally unacceptable.

This is about the potential for revolution, not so much a "blast donald trump" thread.
At least, that was my intention, anyway.

The post that was quoted here has been removedThey clearly are trying to make it look like a creeping race war. let me say this,
there will NEVER be a race war in America. It's all a disguise. they use the
"African American cause" as a means to draw people to their overall cause,
a leftist revolution. Marxists. Just key up BLM marxists. you'll get an eyeful

@Earl-of-Trumps
The problem isn't because Trump is a business man. It's because he is a dishonest business man.
America needs an enema.
