In this segment, a sitting US senator is asked "Are you trying to say Trump will be president on January 20th"
The answer (from a sitting US senator), "Well, that depends what happens on Wednesday."
There was a plan. This is why it's so hard for me to believe this was just like a BLM protest. It's why it's hard for me to believe that Antifa bought a bunch of MAGA gear to look like Trumpers. There were real MAGA Trumpers in positions of authority who had plans in place to keep Trump in power, and were openly discussing their plans to change the outcome of the election in national news segments. These people spoke at the rallies, they stirred up the crowd and asked them to march. They told them on the news that the election wasn't decided yet (even though it ended 2 months prior).
The protestors really thought the election was stolen (some of them alarmingly still think that). They really thought the wrong person was about to be sworn in and that all available checks and balances had been removed. So, it made perfect sense to look at extra-constitutional means for holding on to power. They stormed the capitol to take back a country that was rightfully theirs.

Pretty simple, BLM was/is about getting better treatment of people of color.
These traitors on Jan 6, INCLUDING JIM JORDAN and TRUMP were pushing the overthrow of an entire government, a MUCH more serious legal situation than simple rioting for better conditions for blacks and browns.
