Sure. You just mentioned him. Where do you think your "mention" came from?

Did you not have "him" in your "mind"?

Of course.

But their is no historical evidence to back up my claim.

There is no conclusive evidence either way.
Very likely he was real, but almost impossible to seperate the legends from the person.

"Real" is kind of illusory. All of our lost history is "real". Or it is myth.

In either case. It needs to be examined. See... Joseph Campbell.

Religion?

Do we want to reject it out of hand?

Knowing our need and dependant nature?

Ok.

At your own risk.

Reject OUR myth at your own risk of UNDERSTANDING.

You might be ok...

Religion is false but should be kept around to keep everyone sane and productive.

History is always very intersting how it changes with times. Reminds me of the saying about war "the winner writes the history". Very true..

Maybe. The winner writes and so on. The loser dies. A million deaths.

But victory determines the books. The Victors own the presses.

The loosers just... are. A footnote?

Sorry Clause.

And our history has been written by winners.

Be very interesting if different people ad won different wars.

A different history with different footnotes, but the facts remain the same.

No one will ever know the truth, but will any of it matter?

Reality is a bitch.

Live with it.

Or dream of killing the folk?

Like stalin did?

Murdering bugger?

Or do you support "the people"?

You have not said.

Say.

"The People"?

That's a dangerous term.

Too many bad things have been done by the people for the people.

How do we save the people from themselves?

Maybe you forgot your lunchpail and lost your way...

I'm a right-wing conservative athiest that has won the last two elections.

I can reason right from wrong...it's all those people in San Fransico that I'm worried about.
