@metal-brain saidGood grief.
"So many real juicy conspiracies to be found."
But you only believe them after they are proven to be true. One day you are rebuking conspiracies and the next you are promoting them. Make up your mind.

@shavixmir saidThat is what I say. Make up your mind.
Good grief.
Now there are all sorts of juicy conspiracies you say.
Who shamed you into thinking accepting conspiracy theories was unacceptable and deserving of ridicule? Did that person make you feel like a heretic? That would explain the psychological projection. Is that why you shame others, because you were shamed in that way?
@shavixmir said40 years a go we were all on the road to freezing.
Sigh.
Even when a real conspiracy is pointed out to you, documented and all, your brain has latched on to crap which doesn’t make sense.
I give up on you.
Normally I would say: what? Global warming “theory” which goes directly against the profit margins of the oil industry was started by the oil industry… and the Rockefellers… why?
But I don’t care about your op ...[text shortened]... bare for you to get your teeth into… and you’ve jumped right off the high end.
Completely crazy.

@shavixmir saidIn their Sustainable Development Program Review, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund boasts of being one of the first major global warming activists, citing its strong advocacy for both the 1988 formation of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the 1992 establishment of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Big Oil v the World
Drawing on thousands of newly discovered documents, this three-part film charts how the oil industry mounted a campaign to sow doubt about the science of climate change, the consequences of which we are living through today.
Thirty years ago, a bold plan was cooked up to spread doubt and per ...[text shortened]... tegy that endured for years, and the consequences of which are all around us.
Enjoy yourself!

I know you don't want to believe it, but it is true.
Big oil started the global warming movement.
@Metal-Brain
It matters little who CAUSED global warming, it was 100% man made and it looks to me like there is no way to stop it now and when Greenland gets all its ice melted the oceans will rise 20 feet or more and if Antarctica melts it will be more like 100 feet deeper and you can kiss Floriday goodbye and Manhattan in the bargain, and my home town of El Monte and Venice Beach, all underwater.
@shavixmir saidOne might just mention big pharma here, too. They invented heroin, as a substitute to get people off morphine. Once that geni was out of the bottle, there was no going back. Big pharma is deeply invested in maintaining the world’s heroin addiction, and continues to supply the chemicals needed to refine the raw materials to Afghanistan and other heroin-producing countries.
Basically true of the tobacco industry as well.
So many real juicy conspiracies to be found.
@sonhouse said100% man made GW is impossible.

The planet was warming before the industrial revolution.
Big oil started the global warming movement.
@metal-brain saidNo it didn’t. Idiot.

But hey, if you can tell me who started the GW movement I would love to see your answer. If not big oil, who was it? Who was it, Abby Normal?
If only Igor had brought the right brain.
