He asked a question about social fabric and you pine on about national debt. The two are not synonymous.
The national debt was only a part of the damage done by Wilson. Industry was paralysed by strikes and everyone was feeling the pinch with infaltion runnng at 27.5 %.
Wilson also encouraged the scroungers who live at the taxpayer's expense in order to build up support for his disastrous policies and thus undermined the 'social fabric'.
Let's have no more or your nonsense please.

Thatcher was denying the existence of society, and encouraging everyone to be out just for themselves and lose their sense of community and regard for each other. That's nowhere near comparable with allowing too many people to live on state benefits.
You clearly don't understand the term "social fabric" if it makes you answer with industry. Can you distinguish the terms "industry" and "society". Can you explain how the two are synonymous? Go on about her GDP successes as much as you like, but there's no way you can argue she neglected society.

Rescuing a nation from the depths to which Britain had sunk after 10 years of Labour misrule was of great benefit to society as a whole as well as to individuals.
You do not alter this plain fact by burbling on about 'social fabric' which just another abstraction fabricated by the socialist mentality.
Edit.
I do not propose to waste any more time on your fatuous comments.
