All film camera stuff before that and there were several cases where artifacts appeared on the final film after the negative was exposed, some problem with the negative film.
It was either that or an engine fart which if you look close you can see the actual shuttle engine where the artifact starts.
It certainly wasn't a mistake with a model. That is ridiculous and you know it.

You are so sure of yourself that the whole thing is fake you think nothing but evidence of fakery, never looking at it for what it is, a machine in space. The shuttle disasters, did you know actual bodies were recovered? We SAW the failures on TV and the second one saw the pieces coming into the lower atmosphere at 13,000 miles per hour and in spite of that, bodies were discovered at the bottom of the water. Not faked.
