@uzless saidPerhaps you'd like to hone your reading skills and try again. That post was not in reply to you.
provide some credible stats with source that also ADJUST THE INCOME LEVEL by AGE and i'll consider it.
Also, i'd like to see you point out where i've discriminated against anyone in any of my posts. You might want to get a bucket of water because it looks like your pants are on fire.

@Suzianne saidWomen are sometimes paid less in some professions because their work and/or contribution to production or output is less than men.
Oh, please.
Of ANYone here, I'm sure you're familiar with discrimination, since you wield it like a weapon.
Women are paid less than men in EVERY profession, except for those in government where Federal law prohibits discrimination with regard to race, age or gender. This is why women flock to government positions, since they are guaranteed by law to be paid the same as men.
If productivity between the sexes was exactly equal and women were paid less, then more women would be hired than men, becasue of cost savings. But this is not the case.
As usual you are ignoring critical information pertaining of hiring of men v women.
@Suzianne saidI read the post and the article. But surely you can understand someone in a grad program is going to make less than someone who is already working in that field.
Perhaps you missed this in my post.
In 2014, the APA reported there were more women in post graduate psychology programs than men by a significant margin (75% - 25% ).
Reading is fundamental.
And, the older you are the more money you make so if the average age of men is higher than the average age of women, then it makes sense that the average salary for men would be higher than the average salary for women.
You do understand this, right?

@Rajk999 saidAnd you, Mr. Misogynist, are ignoring that in most cases women can do the same job better than men, and still get paid less.

@Rajk999 saidAre you talking about legal discrimination or social discrimination?
So there are no examples in your part of the world?
If the former, religious organizations can legally discriminate against women for certain positions.
If you're talking social discrimination, there's quite a lot. There was backlash against female secret-service agents when Trump got shot:

@Suzianne saidSaying the older you are the more money you earn means i'm an apologist for gender discrimination? Wow.
So you, too, are an apologist for gender discrimination.
So i guess someone who is younger should NOT make less than someone who is older is what you are saying?
Really...Really???
@vivify saidyou use a situation that was a failed assignment to tout women? LOL you just cant make this shyt up

@Suzianne saidYour posts are a good example of why women are paid less. You are an arrogant, disagreeable hog. Imagine a whole office with 20 like you.... what a horrible thought.
And you, Mr. Misogynist, are ignoring that in most cases women can do the same job better than men, and still get paid less.
@uzless saidAffirmative Action plans for women (or minorities) are not about maintaining an equal number. They're about getting the ball rolling. Just because discrimination isn't legal doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
The Equity folks would disagree with you. Where i work we have active programs mandating the hiring of more women because the equity folks believe that every company should have the same amount of women
If a society believed for decades that only men should be firefighters, discrimination will not magically disappear just because it's legal. So affirmative action is there to get the ball rolling in the direction giving women the same freedom to pursue that occupation without social discrimination.
Does this mean the numbers should be equal? I Personally, I don't think I don't think so.
Affirmative action should be about normalizing the hiring process and work environment to include a disenfranchised group. Your workplace's goal should be to normalize the presence of women until the idea of gender is a nonfactor for employment or promations.

@vivify saidReligious organisations do not follow the law if/when it is contrary to their religious beliefs. If it did then that would not be religion. I dont know about the other case, but personally I wont have had a women in the SS if I were president.
