@shallow-blue saidFirstly, pollies are consistently in the the least trusted professions in any poll in any country, goobermint has become an institution that no longer warrants respect of any kind.
First, by continuing to use that grade-school mauling of "government" you are only confirming that you are too young to be here, by the site ToS.
Second, name one. One road that pre-dates government. Keep in mind that I live in Europe, where a. governments are millennia older than your attempt at oligarchy and b. we founded your first governments to begin with. ...[text shortened]... hebes and Ur of the Chaldeans.
Pre-date? Jeez, my national lottery pre-dates your entire country!
Second, the first roads were rudimentary tracks and by far pre-date any goobermint or goobermint roads. A few of the folk that regularly used the track knocked down a tree here or there, cleared a bit of scrub moved some rocks about, then came the wheel and people in adjoining trading villages improved these tracks, even built bridges, this occurred pre-goobermint. In the beginning roads weren't named, but I can imagine it wasn't long before various goobermint officials, dictators and so on, began attaching their name to roads. Roads often built by slave labor. You're probably a fan of these methods, either direct force or more stealthy indirect use of force, but not everyone is. Private roads continue to be created to this day, some permitted, some not. There are many thousands of miles of private roads, so when No.1 says without goobermint there'd be no roads that is, what is politely known as, a gross exaggeration. There is scope for conversation on the best way to deliver roads, efficiently and justly, but that is immediately shut down when one side is making, to put it politely, gross exaggerations.
Thirdly, as a New Zealander I am unaware of which roads in Egypt that the NZ goobermint has bombed. I do not now, nor in the past, have ever been associated with any group: "The barbarian road bombers." or any variation on that group, whomever they may be, nor have I taken part in any of their road bombing activities.
Or to put it another way: You're kaka notions are flowing from your shag doody hole.
@mchill saidyou mean the media is failing with their fake polls?
It may not come to that. Even this one sided Senate is feeling the heat of public opinion (75% to be exact) that want the Senate to call Bolton and other witnesses to testify. If they don't, they'll be hell to pay come November and they know it. I'm not happy with McConnell's shady dealings either, but it may not be all that bad-
@mott-the-hoople saidFrom what I've read recently, Trump has really surged in popularity. But that will recede as we get far away from impeachment, with an acquittal of course

@Mott-The-Hoople
Based on the fact that eludes your handlers, AMERICANS CAN SMELL CORRUPTION WHEN THEY SEE IT.
Voters will show that come November.
I predict the end of the rePUTINican party come November.
End of voter suppression, hopefully the end of gerrymandering.
Hopefully the dissolution of the rePUTINican party and maybe real people will enter politics who won't go into it thinking 'I can get a GREAT lobby job touting how great coal is' after I lose my next election.......
