@earl-of-trumps saidWell you had better wake up earl because the freedom that the internet provides the consumer coupled with its power to disseminate information means if I don’t like the attitude or practices of a product manufacturer or provider I’ll just click my mouse button a few times and give my patronage to someone else.
@AverageJoe1 -
truly, how can we prevail over these people? We don't know how, they have invented stuff like cancelling and woke and racism. We don't get all that, but they are good at it.
Yeah, well as long as the working class has to go to work all day, and the PC/Woke/Cancel Culture
gets to lounge around all day ang go Tweet-tweet-tweet, then I am afr ...[text shortened]... nbeatable.
But I will fight these phonies every inch of the way, and up to my very last breath.
It’s called freedom earl, I’d a thought you’d be loving it.

But I don't like people who use "freedom of speech" to tell lies about innocent people, so as to ruin them financially.
Does anybody *really* know what the companies "Uncle Ben's Rice" and "Aunt Jemima" did to deserve that crap?

@earl-of-trumps saidWell I still buy Uncle Ben’s rice because it’s one of the best convenience rices out there and neither the picture on the packet nor the product name offend me but maybe they offend black people especially black American people so why not redesign the brand. I had to live with ‘Marathons’ becoming ‘Snickers’, it was traumatic but I got over it and it’s hard to complain through a mouthful of snickers.

@earl-of-trumps saidHere's the thing, they keep getting rid of all the ethnic product symbols and characters and pretty soon there won't be anything but white people left on products, is that really what they want?

@kevcvs57 saidKev, truly, Afros are not offended by Uncle Ben. The complaining is coming from white liberals.

I'm just waiting for cancel culture liberals to boycott Wheaties cereal for having Michael Jordon on the box.

I have been saying in here for months that we are headed for "Separate but Equal" all over again.
And liberals cheer wildly.
@earl-of-trumps saidNonsense.

Michael Jordon is depicted on the Wheaties box as a professional athlete.
"Uncle Ben" and "Aunt Jemima" are stereotypes depicted as cooks (servants) in the white man's mansion.
Quite a difference, and for you to maintain that liberals will assume they are equivalent is just plain stupid.
