I am referring specifically to the wording of the religious texts.
Who cares? If the Church tortured and burned people alive, that religion is evil.

People are evil, and moreso when the religion supports their evil actions. Extremists have the support of the Quran. The Churches that carried out those acts did not have the support of the bible.

One stopped eventually after they realised their error, but the other will not stop.

2 Chronicles 15:12-13 ESV

And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.
you ignorant fool..."death mentioned in the Christian bible refers to "separation"

2 Chronicles simply means those people are separated from Christ.

Well you can ask for 100 opinions and get 100 different responses. I am referring specifically to the wording of the religious texts. So while the early Christian church [specifially the Catholics], went about killing witches and other people and used the bible as justifiation, the Quran is crystal clear. I posted the texts in another thread.

The Christian churches cal ...[text shortened]... over the world.

I am wondering why you people are not seeing the stark difference in the worlding
The church found another bible verse they liked better and chose to focus on that instead of the "put to death" part. But there's not really anything thematically different. Christians all still love that idea of the rapture coming only for the bodies of believers leaving just them in a utopian world and everyone else in the cold ground. Even if they no longer have the stomach for doing the dying with their own hands.

The Chronicals were written several hundred years before Jesus was born.

This is the point... the Quran specifically states to kill Infidels and Jews.
Doesn't matter:

Some 300,000 Jews — up to a quarter of the Spanish population — had to convert to Catholicism or flee Spain, or were killed in the Spanish Inquisition.

Christianity is still no better.

ignorant fool...
Jesus Christ has been since the beginning.

"As it it is written in the Gospel according to John, “In the beginning WAS the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in he beginning with God.. and the Word BECAME flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory..”. In this passage, the writer makes it clear that “in the beginning” – ie., at the point when the universe was created – the Word “was” – in other words, He already was existing. Jesus was and is the eternal Son, the second Person of the Trinity."

Your inability distinguish between different religions by lumping them all in the same basket does not say much for your knowledge or analytical skills.

I posted recently why the term islamophobia is justified ie why people need to fear the spread of Islam. There is no other religion that proselytes so aggressively. Hundreds of thousands killed in the last 10 years all o ...[text shortened]... ica and peoples lives destroyed by Islam.

Islam is a sick religion and has no place in the world.
The Phalanges?
The Klu Klux Klan?
The Pogroms?
The IRA / UDA?
The Inquisition?
The Crusades?

I think you’ll find Christianity goes back much further than that and we can all see what a peaceful and loving religion Judaism is

Liar the Bible supported slavery, stoning people to death and not suffering a witch to live to name but a few. Every evil Christian can base his / her defence on the texts found in the Bible. Same with the Quran and the Torah
Religion is essentially evil because if your doing something in a gods name you can dispense with your innate moral compass. It’s like when you put someone in a uniform you liberate them from the moral norms of their socialisation process.

The bible is the source of two religions, not one. Two distinct set of teachings. Only really ignorant people confuse the two and unable to see the clear differences. Maybe you should actually read it.

Actually three: Judaism is one if them.

You keep dismissing the evils of the Old Testament by saying Christ changed things. Guess what? Religious Jews still believe in it.

If you're going to demonize Arabs based on religious texts, shouldn't you do the same for Jews? Oh, but that would smash the angelic image of Israel you keep pushing.

If the Quran is evil so is the Torah and the Bible.
