I don't need to discuss issues from the last century because we are in an existential crisis RIGHT NOW if Trump gets in again, he wants to kill the income tax system and use tariffs instead to get money for the government but REAL analysis shows the tariff would have to be some 140% to equal tax going to the government.
This would generate a new depression that would make the one in 1929 look like a picnic.
