Yes, don't you? He has the most liberal voting record in the Senate for 2007. If I were a moderate, it turn me off.

Besides, how far can his 'Rodney king', can't we all campaign get against serious scrutiny ? So far he has had a free ride because right now, its all focused on beating up the Clintos'. The conservatives, Moveon.org, environmental whacko ...[text shortened]... for the Dems, both are going to get bloodied in the open warfare that we can hope happens.
You're wrong. They're talking about "Obama Republicans", just like they used to talk about "Reagan Democrats." I think there are quite a few conservatives who wouldn't mind voting for Obama. Which is why I think he'd be a better choice than Clinton. I think he'd be better at luring people across that aisle.

Do you mean that "socialism" is a failure in Norway, or France, or Sweden, or half a dozen other European countries? The Euro stands at what in comparison to the dollar? They seem to be doing quite well over there, all your paranoia notwithstanding.

Look at who ran for the nominations this year:

A minister

A vietnam vet who spent 5 years in a cage

etc.

This is what America is, no? Where else in the world will you find such a rainbow of candidates from all sides of the political and social spectra?

What do we get in Canada? Middle of the road, plain-a ...[text shortened]... nadian politics would take a lesson from the Americans this time around and get people involved.
You wouldn't say that if you had to suffer under Bush for eight years. Believe me, you'd be yearning for something like Canadian politics.

So you don't support Socialism - fine. Do you agree with DsR that it's the "American Way" to tell someone to git if they don't agree or that they don't belong?

France yes, I don't know enough about the other countries to say
much about them. Given time I believe it will bring down any country
including this one.

Did you see me say you don't belong? I spoke to those things I
wanted too, disagreement is a strenght in this country not a weakness.

You don't know anything about them, which sounds to me like you just plain don't know what you're talking about. All you have to go on is your uninformed, irrational prejudices.
