Well, lets see now how do I state this?
How many countries were involved in the food for oil "bilking" with Saddam? Here much about that anymore?
Now, you suppose that had anything to do with the lack of support from some of our allies?
Saddam wanted us and Iran to think he had big bombs, because he was scared sh$$@less of Iran. He was pulling a bluff, to keep them away. I wish we could have just let Iran take care of that whole problem, but we couldn't.
I the meantime, he is grabbing money as fast as he could by giving oil away, and taking money that should have went to the PEOPLE of Iraq

Who is morally superior when it comes to dealing with suspected terrorists?
Consider the following:
Obama has authorized at least 2 missile strikes to kill suspected al Q terrorists in and around Pakistan since he has taken office. A few dozen people were killed instantly by the bombing attacks.
Bush authorized the arrest and imprisonment of a ...[text shortened]... ffect, what we are saying is that it's not okay to torture people, but killing them is fine!!??

Let me re-phrase it for you.
Why did everyone criticize Bush for creating the prison in guantanamo, but NO ONE is criticizing Obama for ACTUALLY KILLING people?
As I see it, during the past decade in America a powerful tool has been developed and is used extremely efficiently. At this point it stikes paralysing fear in everyone from the private citizen to the most powerful politician. It is a life ender. It is a charge of Racism!
I submit this may quell the ardor of those in the media whose job it is to be critical, because of the emcumbents..hmmm special characteristics.
btw I am prepared for the slings and arrows - let them fly, do your worst. 😀
