It is not rational behaviour and therefor not the best beguning for my grandchild. Regardless of what a great mum her friend says she is.
What would you guys do if this was YOUR daughter?

I still think she needed to talk to someone becasue something's not right here. If she were my doughter I'd be worried about her and why she wanted so many childern, with such a strong need in her to go to these lengths.

Taxpayers may have to cover octuplet mom's costs

The Suleman octuplets' medical costs have not been disclosed, but in 2006, the average cost for a premature baby's hospital stay in California was $164,273, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The average cost for just one cesarean birth in 2006 was $22,762 in California. Eight times that equals $1.3 million.

Octuplet Grandma Angela Suleman Speaks Out, Tells a Different Story from Nadya's
Monday February 9, 2009
Angela also voiced her anger over Nadya's claim she was raised in a dysfunctional family and was lonely as a child. "We raised her in a loving family and her father always spoiled her," Angela said.
"The truth is that Nadya hasn't worked since she started having her children," Angela charged, "while Ed and I battled to pay her bills.
"Nadya promised to help me with the bills, but she never has. I lost a house because of it and now I'm struggling to look after her six. We had to put in bunk beds, feed them in shifts and there's children's clothing piled all over

injury at work and that the payments stopped at the same time that
she went in for her section. So how dose that work, that she can get
free health care and there's no NHS? If her health insurance pays then
that's not the tax payer...
Anyway it's obvious for all to see that the lady hasn't joined the adult
world, and that can only be from her childhood being inaducute. I
hope my spelling passes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Security_Disability_Insurance
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is a payroll tax-funded, federal insurance program of the United States government. SSDI, managed by the Social Security Administration, is designed to provide income to people who are unable to work because of a disability. SSDI is intended to be provided until their condition improves, and is intended to guarantee income if the individual's condition does not improve.
There is a social stigma against people who collect welfare. This stigma can extend to people who collect SSDI, although SSDI is not a welfare program. SSDI is a social insurance program, and benefits are only granted after a lengthy determination process, whereby the applicant must prove that they are disabled. SSDI is contrasted with Supplemental Security Income ("SSI"😉, a welfare, or needs-based program administered by the Social Security Administration for people who demonstrate financial and resource poverty, in addition to medical disability. Applicants for SSDI are often required to concurrently apply for SSI if they may qualify, and vice versa.
Informal names for SSDI include Disability Insurance Benefits (DIB) and Title II benefits, named for the chapter title of the governing section of the Social Security Act.
