@shavixmir saidNo, "group psychosis" isn't a thing.
It’s complete and utter garbage.
There is no “mass formation” or as they suggest hypnosis.
You use that as “important to watch” material for everyone???
Christ all mighty on a pogo stick.
This is much better for your intellect:

Or this, the latest inf ...[text shortened]... , it’s the anti-vax community and their idiotic madhatter sources they keep thinking are worthwhile.
They used to call it "groupthink" or the "madness of crowds". Now that is only a phenomenon known since the 1840's. The vast majority of psychosis is individual in nature, usually characterized by hallucinations, delusions and/or schizophrenia, or hearing voices. It's a disconnect from reality. Those with actual psychosis are usually loners with little to no social outlets. When vast swaths of people adopt the same delusions ( "stop the steal!", or anti-vaxxing), it is usually just an adoption of the current groupspeak, to fit in with a group, or a group (or "mob", if you will) who've all been incited by the same con artist. This is another phenomenon of crowd mentality, and not actual psychosis. One sign of psychosis is having ideas no one else (in the local group network) shares, and so usually no, "mass psychosis" is not a thing, and is better described as being something else entirely.

@metal-brain saidNo, it doesn't, and yes, I have. Do, in fact.

My default search engine is DuckDuckGo. (Not, by the way, *Duck Duck Go. There are no spaces in the name.) For most ordinary searches, it is quite good enough, and I rather like not giving Google any more data on my habits.
Unfortunately, for a specialist search, or a difficult one, DuckDuckGo really is not as good as Google. It'll find you a lot of results that are near what you were looking for, or that look a bit like it, but not quite what you need. For example, you're looking for a 19th-century text; DuckDuckGo will give you modern citations of that text, or pop songs that just happen to share its name, or other works by the same author; but if the text is obscure enough, not the text itself. Google, OTOH, will have a link to it - possibly halfway down the second page, but they'll have found it.
Still, not enough difference for me to trust Google with my personally identifiable data unless I really, really need it. DuckDuckGo remains my default, because if you're looking for, I dunno, the lyrics to Beatles songs, or the English name of a butterfly you only know the Dutch name of, it's quite good enough. But let's not pretend that it's quite up to the level of Google - let alone better.

@wajoma saidAnd you're the smartest guy on the web, I'm sure.
This could be quite a witty post, coming from almost anyone else it would be dry satire, funny and sad at the same time.
We'd chuckle 'This person made a CRAZY dumb post about the CRAZY dumb times we live in and they did it in the style of a CRAZY dumb person'.
But then the realisation would come, in the case of sonhouse 'CRAZY dumb' is not an act, he's made a CRAZY du ...[text shortened]... te in our mouths like we picked up the wrong bottle which has full of cigarette butts, oh, and pity.
Say, when are you going to explain to all of us,
