Oh, that's right, you don't want to
lose your CANADIAN WELFARE...
Plenty jobs down here, but why
work when they give you a
welfare check, right?
@mott-the-hoople saidAngry? Hardly....Envious of others?....Wrong again.

I've achieved some success myself and I
don't begrudge others their successes.
You live in your own world,
I hope they like you there.

@athousandyoung saidYes, indeedy, ATY. bang on.
Tough to do when so many fathers are being thrown in prison or refuse to acknowledge their children because they don't want to spend or don't have the money to raise them properly
Growing up without a father is more detrimental than growing up poor
“The absence of a father figure,” says Calvo, “is at the root of most social problems: violence, drug abuse, pre-adolescent pregnancy, academic failure, running away from home … Before, it was thought that poverty was the cause, but no: it is the absence of a father.”

Father Factor in Incarceration – Even after controlling for income, youths in father-absent households still had significantly higher odds of incarceration than those in mother-father families. Youths who never had a father in the household experienced the highest odds. A 2002 Department of Justice survey of 7,000 inmates revealed that 39% of jail inmates lived in mother-only households. Approximately forty-six percent of jail inmates in 2002 had a previously incarcerated family member. One-fifth experienced a father in prison or jail.

@jimm619
To be honest, and I'm being sincere...
When I walk around I think they know I am that guy.
When fools are being fools they get quiet when I am around.
It happens everywhere. On the street, On the bus, at the mall.
Ya I get it... I'm huge.
That's not the reason.
People say it's my eyes 🤔
I'm just waiting for a group of yoots to mess with me.
I'm willing to do more time just to set an example.
Praise be to God if it gets recorded. I'll be on Fox!
Isn't what one of those school shooters said before
he opened fire on a bunch of schoolchildren?
@moonbus saidmoonbus: Did it ever occur to you that violence breeds violence?
Did it ever occur to you that violence breeds violence? That kicking kids’ asses is what makes them angry and resentful? That violence against youths teaches them that violence is how they should solve problems? That beating up on people who are weaker is what makes it likely that they in turn will beat up someone weaker still?
Grow up.

I'll tell ya, today's kids are far more violent than the kids who had parents that disciplined them.
I was shocked to find out that the high school I went to has a police officer on duty at all times. Huh....? stunned,
Discipline may not always mean physical punishment, take a sports team or even military recruits. They *push* but do no harm.
I know one thing, this society has to try *something* because the level of violence with the youth is way too high
