@divegeester you sound like an example of the Peter Principle. You rose to your highest level of incompetence. Your corporation was under no obligation to give the part time opportunity to any other employee unless it was written into contracts. You could have easily and legally said that such arrangements are creating issues and so cannot be sustained. It could have been cancelled for the employee you gave this to. The same applies to letting one employee work from home and not another. Or changing the work at home option if it is not working for your company. Schools with unionized teachers often try things like shared teaching and then cancel the opportunity if administrators feel it does not work well. You sound rather incompetent.

will allow you to use sick leave to nurse a pet.........Many Japanese companies
(one of the worlds most productive and loyal work forces) encourage their
employees to take naps, on the job, as they have found that it increases
worker productivity and morale.....
As for the working conditions you seem to foster, once again, y'all
are on the wrong side of history----Like the 60 hour work week, child labor
and hazardous working conditions...

you want people to have equal shares of work, just set on your ass when you are done with your share, but come payday you want all to share the revenue equally

If employee A finishes early he should be allowed to go home early. Or relax (better to go home). If you want to give him more work, you pay him more. Who the fuk would finish faster if it meant more work for no change in pay.
