This is the truth. People not above the law like "Fancy Nancy" either went without the service, or performed it themselves. I personally went without for over 4 months, until it became LEGAL in my state to operate g.d. hair salons again!

Yes, I find it quite plausible she hadn't kept track of the changing regulations regarding hair salons in California; unlike the salon owner it isn't her responsibility to do so. I believe the article I already linked to says she usually has a stylist come to her house.
