We seem to be overlooking the obvious?. Tell me where I am wrong. Sam works in the factory,.... if he has chosen to get a vaccination, he is 99% sure not to catch Covid. So he moves on with his life of Freedom. Why do you think the govt should hassle the guy who shows up unvaccinated? He and the other unvaccinated idiots can just dance the night away. Sam, and I, are Free to live our lives of Freedom.
What is your take on this? You may have a good answer. which I will respect, but I just don't see it. Really, you are once again saying that the dependent people of the USA depend on the government to be sure that people around them have been vaccinated, so that they will be all cozy and healthy without having to actually take care of themselves. Nanny state, Marauder?

From abortions to elections to rents, Biden is seeking to federalize huge areas to displace state law. You fellers only see the surface. Not since John Adams has the country's federalism been challenged so horribly.
Biden has SAID that he knows he is operating outside of constitutional limits. He said months ago, together with Pelosi, that he would not mandate. But, ...[text shortened]... o them, and protects inalienable rights .
Vote: Which side is in line with the Constitution.
But NOW they are trying to supplant state authority . You fellers listening??
Biden is in effect breaking down a system designed to protect liberty.

Dear Joe -

Let us assume for a moment you are correct. Our country has a judicial system that is fully capable of deciding the constitutionally of these issues. So, rather than arguing your case here, why don't you (just as an experiment) let the courts decide what Joe Biden and the liberals can and cannot do. Our courts have functioned reasonable well for over 2 centuries. 🙂

Workers shouldn't have to worry about catching a contagious deadly disease because someone else insists on the "freedom" to spread it. While vaccination reduces the chance of catching COVID, it doesn't eliminate it.

COVID is a bigger threat to worker safety than misused ladders after all.

McHill. I spend more time on the financial news, so I dont know much about Covid science, no time to learn it either. ( But I do know about Freedom)
So, I will respond thusly. This is the corn seed of tyranny that I am about to show you. You will say, 'Dam, you are right Joe'.

I am not going to paraphrase, look at it or not, just the title of th article should give you pause. All bank accounts have a balance of $600. So, she wants to violate the banking privacy (freedom) of your bank account. As a group person, that might not bother you, but the end-game will be our death knell.
This link is my answer to your post. The 'courts' you mention are going to be left in the dust by Biden dictatorship. Not to sound like an alarmist, but Mussollini never heard much from a 'court'. Marauder, could you weigh in on this?

Actually. I considered this AM to start a thread on Yellen and Biden doing this. But, ,I thought, hell, no one gives a dam. As long as such things are applied to 'Everyone ., The People, Group-think, the Common Good', then the libs will be all for it. So I didn't bother. And the Marauders of the world will, for lack of any cogent response, will say something like this is BS.

Maybe because you are not worth 'debating' with since that is not your thing.

For instance, you just said you don't know much about covid science AND don't want to.

Yep, real open mind you got there.

Sonhouse, consider the number of posts about the intricacies of Covid, Vaccines, different strains, is it in the air, or on a gas pump handle. Does a mask work? You getting tired of these examples??? So am I, esp since we are not disease experts, yet listen to one of us after another talk about this stuff???? You are right, I don't want to. 'One man's opinion', don't you know. And I CERTAINLY dont want to learn about it. You are right about that. Me, my concern about Freedom trumps all about Covid.

OK, don't let me stop you. Tell us what you think about the vaccine and how it impacts whatever you think it impacts.

It doesn't matter WHAT I say, you pronounce it wrong.

Like I said, you don't debate, you post ultraright BS agreeing with your POV.

But this bit about tiny government which is what repubs want, which is really abrogation of responsibility, responsibility to the citizens of the US.
Did you forget THAT part? Repubs certainly have.

As far as they are concerned, ANYTHING big business wants they get if repubs are in charge because those businesses makes huge donations to repubs.

But you see nothing wrong with that, so what if we go back to 19th century conditions, like they used to do back then, like 'you want you office space heated?
Bring your OWN coal, forget US giving any to you'.

Or dumping toxic waste in our rivers and streams, they are back at it again.

But of course you think it promotes JOBS, therefore it doesn't matter how many folks or kids die from such toxins.

For instance, the fracking industry, causing methane to show up in citizens drinking water, coming right out of faucets and can actually burn.

No big deal right since we don't WANT cursed government interfering with the rights of big business to dump toxins because to deal with them environmentally would just cost too much money so SCREW those LOSERS dying because of our toxins.

I suppose you think big business is SO benign they would NEVER do that so we don't NEED government running safety issues.

Like those screwball CEO's of those meat packing plants to change policy to keep people alive.
Yep, REAL civic duty dudes.

But they have JOBS, who cares how many of those worthless blacks dying?

My guess is you have no idea what I am talking about since all you watch is fox and newsmax.

You do not post anything , mainly your mindset, that disagrees with your point of view. Why, I think I will send our 2 posts to the Library of Congress.

Ignoring the issues against repubs just shows how much your head is in the sand and you DESPARETLY want things to go back to 1960 when blacks had to use their designated restrooms and the like.

In 1960 in the town I was living in 'Escondido', the news was if you are black, work till 5 PM then get the hell out of town.

Yep, real enlightened times.

A person gets two vaccinatons. He is VERY unlikely to catch Covid. YOU want to chip away at personal freedoms, allowing govt control of me and Sonholuse and everyone, all for the sake of sheltering people from Covid, on the Off-Chance that they 'may' catch it. That is what you are saying.
So everyone stop driving over 40 mph to avoid a wreck that MAY happen. Hey,,,,Marauder, there will be a few wrecks. My analogies are killing you. This is a good one, but you will prob say BS and go back to your google.
