@mott-the-hoople saidIt boils down to this:
so it all boils down to the numbers a particular admin tells you? much like the economy ehh?
what is 'best reliable data"?
IF a government agency publishes data that in your mind is favorable to Trump and/or unfavorable to Biden, you enthusiastically repeat said numbers;
IF the same government agency using the exact same methods publishes data that in your mind is unfavorable to Trump and/or favorable to Biden, you insist the data is false.
@averagejoe1 saidStop lying.
Quick answer. He planned on the wall before he was elected. The wall started to go up and it started to block aliens. It would take more than four years to pull this off. He was thwarted at every turn, actually, since he came off the elevator. So, when he lost the election, the war was stopped,. For another half $1 million l, the wall could’ve been completed. And today th ...[text shortened]... eck with Marauder if you think it is not open because that is his man speak.
Next question please.
You overestimate your god and underestimate his inefficiency.

@mott-the-hoople saidIt certainly isn't what comes out of Trump's mouth.

@wildgrass saidSeriously, it is amazing how there can be to totally diff viewpoints on his handling of the Border. Not just you and me, 50% each way.But, yeah, I guess Biden is doing a much better job.
It's not about the number of promises broken here. It's the specific promise to fix immigration. Santa Claus doesn't deliver a puppy so you just wait 8 years and ask him again?
You still think trump can fix immigration? After we handed him everything he needed to do the job? Excuse this excuse that. He failed and he'll just fail again.
I kind of feel bad for you guys. You hung your hat on trump and now can't admit he failed to live up to his promises.
You know if I were pres, I would deny admittance to anyone who cannot speak English. Mean me.

@no1marauder saidUhhh, doesnt this work both ways. i think biden is bad, you think he is good. You like socialism, I like capitalism. What are you talking about? Wasted post.

@averagejoe1 saidWhy don't you advertise that everyone who shows up at the border and can speak English gets a free pass?

We'd be swamped. But you'd be sorry you said it within a week.

@suzianne saidWell, be silly, but that would be but one qualification. Why, you 'a messin wit me, Suzianne. Also, we would have a quota, maybe 1.5 million annually or less if we cannot afford 1.5. What is the present quota, ....is there one. I googled 675,000 visas per year, but then, that is google, which leans liberal, so it could be lies. Lies, I say!!

It doesn’t matter whether Trump was a brilliant president or a total dog. What matters is that he committed the treason of refusing to leave the White House, and calling his disciples to overthrow the government when he was voted out of office. For that he should be executed, not allowed to prevent any man or woman of competence and integrity from becoming the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidency.
@averagejoe1 saidIt's not a viewpoint. In the trump administration, the numbers of illegal entries went up, and the number of deportations of illegal immigrants went down. You can apply media or political spin to the raw numbers but these are facts.

A LIE
@wildgrass saidthe facts, Trump was deporting illegals as fast as the system would allow, liberal federal judges STOPPED many deportations. Trump then created the remain in mexico policy to stop them from entering.

You are distorting the truth.
under biden, millions (the actual number is unknown) are entering, some simply by using an app on their phone. it is totally out of control.
@mott-the-hoople saidRight like a CEO explaining to shareholders why shares are going down.

That doesn't mean the CEO is magically making it better. Things were objectively worse regarding immigration after Trump left compared to before he arrived.

@averagejoe1 saidNo, it really doesn't "work both ways". Facts are facts; if you're willing to use data from government agencies that help your argument, you can't honestly say data from those same agencies is worthless if they don't.
