Republicans and Socialism

American Republicans are a good group. They are not Nazi's, as some claim, and I believe they truly want the best for everyone in America, and all over the world. America's conservative party needs to realize however that there way of doing business is not always the best way. The proper mix of Capitalism and Socialism can work well in any country to insure moderate form of conservativism might better suit America's Republican party. 😏

The problem in Washington is that the #1 concern is me, myself, and I. An example of this was when the original TARP money was shot down by the Republicans. Why, you may ask? It was because they had not gotten input into the bill so as to fill it with pork for their own devices. However, once they were able to force the issue and get concessions they passed the bill. Mind you, this was all at a time when the entire economic structure was on the verge of collapse. In effect, they could not pass legislation to save their very souls unless they could first attach some pork to it. But now that the Democrats are the majority, they no longer need the Republicans to participate to get things passed so they just thumb their noses at them. Now is the time for the Democrats to inact all their porkuluss packages until the American people get fed up and turn to the Republicans. Now all the Republicans can do is bad mouth the Democrats with the knowledge that if and when it all blows up in their faces they can stand there and say, "We told you so and we opposed them at every turn".
