Get ready for it everyone. If the Dims lose.....again.....it will be the fault of Putin.

However, if the Dims win the story will go away.

Nah if Dems win it's the fault of Xi.

It's not Russia I'm worried about, it's the Republicans stripping the PoC off the voting rolls again.

You think that the Mueller investigation will halt as soon as the Democrats win the midterms?

No. (why would it end?)

If Dems had played it cool these past two years there would probably be a power shift in their favor in the midterm elections.
Typically what happens is the party that loses control of the executive branch gains back some of their power in the midterms.
As expected losing the White House to republicans fired up the democrat base, whereas the republican base should have become complacent after winning the White House... should have, but didn't.
Republican voters are just as fired up (if not more so) as Democrat voters.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. I wasn't planning on saying anything about this until after the midterms, because talking about it now sounds like monday morning quarterbacking before the fact.

American elections, especially mid-term elections, typically have extremely low turnout compared to functional modern democracies. I don't think it is accurate to say American voters are "fired up" with such extremely high levels of apathy.

extremely high levels of apathy

I'm not sure if you meant that as comedic understatement, or if you just don't know.

Just out of curiosity...

Have you seen British citizens exhibiting extremely high levels of apathy over the Brexit deal?

The Leftists rule the British.

As a result, they will refuse to let the democratic vote of Brexit stand.

I have no questions about that.

After all, Leftists are fascists.

The non-binding Brexit referendum had a much higher turnout than U.S. midterm elections.

To whodey, "leftist" is a catch-all phrase designating those he views as bogeymen.

You just can't admit that Trump did not win the popular vote in 16 and republicans are in actual deep doo doo for '18 midterms where you see such spectacles as Cruz actually hugging Trump, whom he called a moron and T called Cruz a liar, but now he's beautiful.

Do you seriously think they are bosom buddies now for real? The hypocrisy was dripping off Trump's hairpiece and all over the Cruz monkey suit.

Both parties are pumped so it is up in the air who wins now. If repubs win it will be all over for any hope of the US regaining any form of respect in the world. I hope you don't think we HAVE the respect of the world now with all the crap Trump has pulled, sucking up to Putin and Un, dissing NATO, Canada and Mexico.

I think even you have to admit that was an extremely stupid way to run foreign relations. We also won't be recovering from that for a long time even if that sorry ass Trump gets booted out in 2019 or so or gets booted out in 2020 and a real person becomes POTUS, the damage around the planet has been done and that is BESIDES all the corruption clearly going on with Trump and company.

Thing is, his get out of jail card is only good till he is booted out of office, either through impeachment or not being re-elected in '20, either way even when Kavanaugh gives T his GOOJC, it is null and void the minute he becomes a civilian again. Plus, his kids and Kushner are NEVER going to get a GOOJC because they are not POTUS and therefore are subject to arrest right now if Mueller indicts them.

So good luck with your buddy POTUS. He gets more rotten every day.
