Remember they said "All lives matter"? This is a direct taunt and slap in the face to people who think Black lives DO matter. What they mean is "White lives matter". But we have known that for at least the last 400 years in this country. What is far less clear is the importance of Black lives, especially to those in power, aka "white" America. And this is why "Black lives matter" is an important movement. All you do is bad-mouth BLM, and that's not exactly "showing tolerance". It is you rejecting the basic premise, that yes, black lives DO matter as much as white lives.

Most whites that I know just get up and go about their business every day. Their business has nothing to do with the color of somebody skin. The blacks don’t see it that way. I saw a black guy on the news walk up to a man in the street and hit him in the side of the head with a stick and run off. Maybe yall could key in on that to make more sense of these conversations
