Glocks have a reputation of extreme reliability. It was their major selling point when introduced.
I suspect either an exotic ammo choice or limp-wristing as the cause. Glocks have a reputation for jamming if not held with a tight arm, and the extreme super defense atomic fireball black ops plutonium hollow point 9mm ammo can be finicky in a lot of guns.

True that Glocks almost never jam, but how often did he clean it?

If a gun is gonna jam on exotic ammo, being dirty will jam it a LOT sooner. So will bad after-market magazines, especially near the end of the clip.

I'm just hypothesizing. I don't know he had a Glock. Just saying it's likely.
