Nice simple graph for the hard of learning (DSR):

You shouldn't place so much faith in the U.N., an organization behind the greatest monetary scandal in the history of the world (Oil for Food) and which runs child prostitution rings wherever it sets down "Peacekeepers." The most charitable thing I can say about the IPCC, sponsored by the U.N., is that it is a political document, rather than a scientific one. In defiance of standard scientific standards, the IPCC reached its conclusion first and then told the "scientists" (where I come from, we call people like this "whores"😉 to provide the facts. As far as I know, most scientific experiments proceed in the reverse order of this. So my hat is off to the U.N. for its novel approach to science. Also, the IPCC's policy recommendations are based on flawed statistical analyses and procedures that violate general forecasting principles:

I don't have to do anything except die and pay taxes.

Global warming isn't empirical fact, and the UN proclaiming it as such only damages the case.

After all, aren't they the folks that gave us such great scams as Oil for Food programme

Oil for Food?? C'mon guys!

If either of you two have a filet knife we can fry up red herring and then put it to good use. 🙂

We also can't dismiss the excellent job they are doing in Dafur ..... didn't they appoint George Clooney (obviously because of all his excellent credentials on dealing with African affairs) a Ambassador of Peace (or some other goofball title ) to the region on behalf of the UN (Useless Nations)

What will really prove interesting is what will the UN do with the information the Chicoms gave to the UN that Iran is trying to obtain nuclear weapons ..... and why did the Chinese narc on the Iranians?

I have a Bowie knife...will that do?

Once again, Herring is tasty fish, but not relevent to whether or not the science coming out of the UN sponsored research is trustworthy. But that's ok. It's just more food for us!

You call that a knife? This is a knife!

Actually it does snow here about once every 10 years.

I would have thought 'harbouring Nazi blood money' (Switzerland) to be a more cogent example of fiscal disgrace, but perhaps the UN is more heinous than the NSDAP.

Before anyone packs up their skis and heads for the Alamo, realize the last semi-decent snow we got was 13 inches in 1985. Since then, 2 other years that I remember off-hand and both were just a light dusting that didn't stay on the ground more than a day.

You have never lived here. We are 350 miles south of Oklahoma but only 150 miles north of Mexico. To get to El Paso you travel in a northwesterly direction. Waco is central Texas. Corpus Christi is 150 miles south right on the Gulf of Mexico.

born in corpus and raised in san antone and corpus 🙂 ...

see? san antone is -barely- south of houston.

if you drew circles on the map for five regions, n, s, e, w, and central, san antonio would be in the central circle. maybe overlapped by the south circle if overlap is permitted ...

san antone is close to mexico, but to the southwest, not directly south.

No they wouldnt. It's called the El Nina effect. Watch the weather channel and they'll explain it to you. Or you could, you know, read a book or something.

El Nina causes cooler weather. El Nino causes warmer weather. El Nina is coming to end right now.

Its the US secret weather manipulation project... all major military powers are experimenting with cloud seeding and whatnot... Germany recently admitted to it after their experiments were exposed...
