@whodey saidReally?
What I can do is math.
So Bernie wants a mandatory minimum wage of $15/hour
Ok, sounds great right?!
$15 x 40 hours/week = $600
$600 x 52 weeks per year = $31,200
Bernie wants free health care for all and was asked how he would pay for it, to which he said he would raise taxes 52% on everyone making over $29,000/year.
52% of 31,200 = $16,224 in tax
$31,200 ...[text shortened]... 0 per hour.
Unfortunately, most Americans can't do math. All they do know is, Orange Man is bad.
So, what you’re saying is that people will be financially better off if they work, say, 36 hour weeks (could be 38 or 32.... whatever drops them below the 29.000 mark)?
Meaning they’ll have more money and more free time to spend it in. And that those extra hours become open spots for other people to get some work as well.
Nasty old Bernie!

@shavixmir saiddude it's the same idiotic math charlie kirk tweeted. he shamelessly ripped it off him. 52% is for dudes making over 10mill and it's a marginal tax rate. Don't need to argue as if he has a sort of valid point instead of lying his face off
Really?
