@sonhouse saidI don't see his name on the top 26 individual donor list. But space x the company donated $118 million to trump.
@wildgrass
But your 145 bil number has to be wrong, since Musk is worth 1/3 of a TRIL.

LOL you think Musk wants free speech? 🤣 Mott, always reliably gullible and/or delusional.
Back in reality, content moderation at Twitter is higher and more biased than it's ever been.The examples of Musk’s hypocrisy are so frequent, it’s hard to keep track of them all. Musk was once caught taking advice from rightwing online friends about which leftwing accounts ...[text shortened]... one.

Musks Twitter bans liberal accounts. Lots and lots of liberal accounts.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidTry saying something negative about Elon or Tesla on Twitter and see what happens

This is at least the fifth time that X, under Musk, has purged accounts that are the slightest bit critical of him, his friends, or causes he supports. Shortly after taking the social network’s reins in October 2022, the self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” banned the accounts of multiple actors and comedians who made fun of him.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidMott, look at all the free speech happening on Twitter since musk took over..
yep, freedom of speech is a right the left has tried to take away…just admit why you dont like Musk

@sonhouse saidOf course space x gets many billions per year in tax dollars. Makes perfect sense to have the guy running that company donating a hundred million to presidential campaigns, getting a job in the administration, and also deciding where to allocate government resources.
@wildgrass
Who do you think owns Space X?
Hint: It is NOT Bill Gates.
@wildgrass saidAre you saying you didn't know Space X is owned by Elon Musk?
Of course space x gets many billions per year in tax dollars. Makes perfect sense to have the guy running that company donating a hundred million to presidential campaigns, getting a job in the administration, and also deciding where to allocate government resources.
@wildgrass
Do you figure anyone ELSE besides Musk at Space X would have made that donation? like his secretary goes, Hey, I want to make a REALLY BIG donation to Trump?
You don't think MAYBE it was done that way because of the laws regarding political donations?
@sonhouse saidIt wasn't my analysis but I get your point. There's lots of oligarchs donating through their companies. Sometimes the companies are publicly traded which means they are legally obligated to spend money in shareholders best interest. Which means they can justify a donation to a political campaign will provide return on investment.

For personal donations, the billionaires dont become billionaires by donating money. They expect a return.
@wildgrass
Just like the billionaire club giving millions in 'gifts' to Clarence Thomas in SCOTUS. They don't give gifts because they are such magnanimous people, they like you say, want political payment for their 'donations'.
