You do not have the first clue what a blockade is do you?
You have to physically block the sea lane with armed naval vessels or scuttle some in a narrow enough channel to physically block its passage is that what the Houthi’s have done. Egypt could decide to block the Suez Canal that way again but I doubt that they will.
