Sadly, the more that some people DEMAND people do not be racist ( re- individuals), the more they are likely to remain just that.
Racism is a cancer but you cannot coerce someone to be cured.
This sad state was 100's of years in the making, it can NOT be fixed overnight.

(2) If all you did was vote and then respect the results, and respect the difference of opinion, there'd be absolutely no problem whatsoever.

That would be, by definition, democratic, and not the exercise of mob rule.

It becomes mob rule when you reach for a weapon when you hear that the owner of some corporation simply felt blessed by the sitting US President.
