The gist of the article is that the FBI "investigation" of the allegations against Kavanaugh was cursory and slipshod and numerous possible witnesses were not even contacted or interviewed. That is clearly true and that some tangential details that should have been reported were left out does not change that fact.

You and Mott are claiming the article "lied" yet neither of you have been able to point to a clear untruth or false impression intended to be created by it.
I note not even the article referenced in the OP claimed the NYT story "lied" even though it was heavily critical of certain omissions.
