I am disapointed. I really did not expect a 'LOL' from you. Otherwise I agree that Iran and other fanatically Islamic countries pose the main threat today.

Yes, and we had the British empire, wiped out the Australian Aboriginals, alot of NZ Maori, and many other small groups of indigenous peoples.

The proto-americans wiped out the American Indians.

The spanish (largely) wiped out the South American Incas etc.

Most nations have done bad things in their pasts - as princeoforange rightly points out, it's how much we learned from that and where we are now that counts.

I'll say one negative thing about the Japanese, if it makes you happier, they still don't accept responsibility for alot of the atrocities that were committed during WW2. However, the people that committed those atrocities are slowly dying off, and I don't think we can lump the blame onto the younger generation, who have been largely taught that they didn't do anything wrong.
