I'm just getting to the end of this book and i think it provides a brilliant insight into Stalinist Russia during the second world war.

I highly recommend it! It gives the reader an insight into every walk of life, from peasant to commissar. If Communism is your thing, it's a must read. 🙂

When you say to all the communists, do you mean, 'to all the comunist' or 'to all the stoopid commies'?

I'd guess the one he actually typed but who knows he could mean "I am a giant walrus" for all we know.

I'm sure it is interesting book, but Stalinist Russia was not communist.

Sigh. I guess that it is inevitable that people will go on writing and reading books about this failed religion. It is inevitable that they could ever think of quiting. It is inevitable that we must defeat it over and over. It is inevitable that religion is strange and almost impossible to kill once it gains control of the weak minded of the world.

(svw giggles at the inevitability of the progress of the dialectic to inevitably die an ugly death... inevitably)

... for those who have never read Lenin, Marx et al, sorry. This post IS an inside joke about the inevitability that communism MUST replace capitalism. giggle.

Yes. All commie nations are commie nations. Study the art of deceptive language in his post script to 1984 by George Orwell.

Just trying to speak new speak makes all you commies sound really, really stupid.

Name one commie nation that isn't a commie nation. Please.

No, not really.

It takes a wee bit more than a party describing itself as communist being in power to make a country communist.

Arguably, communist country is a contradiction in terms.

So why did you make the asserted query:

Very true.In fact, has there ever been a truely communist nation?

Of course. There have been many and new commie nations are forming yearly it seems.

They are all "True" commie nations. The wonder is that you refuse then to notice the "true" nature and soul of "communism" for what it brings about EACH AND EVERY TIME it gains control of a bunch of slaves.

Do you know why it always fails so spectacularly? Because it refuses to notice and pay homage to the very obvious fact that greed is a large component part of every human being basic nature. Communism and greed can't exist together. So the "greedy" are "eliminated". And we get another round of Pol Pot, Stalin and soon to be Chavez.

Mind blowing, stupid rigidity and failure to recognize and change. That's comminess in a "nut" shell.

Because I didn't think there has ever been a real communist nation.
Your question was funny cause it's obviously impossible to name a communist nation that isn't a communist nation.I thought that's why you asked it,as a joke...

The second part of your post basically sums up why I think the human race isn't ready for communism.

Which is? That old svw said so? Seems a pretty petty reason to dash the dreams of millions of want-a-be commies.

Don't tell me that my thinking causes the summation of why humanity isn't ready for evil. Explain it to the entire world in your own words.

I say it to anyone who is remotely interested in that political system, or anyone who is interested in having an insite into Stalinist Russia and what it felt like to the everyday person in 1941.
