of course. Corruption is everywhere.
Do you expect they would take a few $, from poor people as me or as you? Nah, they are behind great bucks.

All systems of government are subject of corruption. Dennying this is being childish.

P.S.: money, or any material prebenda...

I must ask No1 about this. He has so much confidence in the judicial system ..... he is a lawyer himself though .....

Maybe I should ask Bbarr and Nemesio also .........

If you are asking if I believe corruption exists, my answer is: yes.

If you are asking if I believe corruption exists to the degree that the
Terri Schiavo case has not received its just due (not a moral question,
but a legal one), then my answer is: no.

You said good night to me quite some time ago, Father Ivanhoe. Are
you addicted to this topic or something? Don't you have a sermon to
prepare for Monday within the Octave of Easter?

judges are very well paid in most countries.
in some countries they are almost the highest paid.

i think further money payment is not as important as threats.
i think judges are sometimes threatened.
and they are very good at covering up their cooperation.

Tom DeLay, who shepherded through the law allowing federal courts to intervene at the last moment and has called allowing Terri to die as per her wishes "barbaric", apparently agreed with the cutting off of medical treatment such as dialysis to his father in 1988. Wonder if Ivanhoe will want an investigation into this case, too.

I see where your confusion was. LittleBear asked if I would go to bed
at peace with respect to the Schiavo situation. I responded that I
would.
